Don started his insurance career in 1972 as an agent with Nationwide Insurance Companies. As a Nationwide agent he offered Auto, Homeowners, Life, Health, Group and Commercial Insurances.
In 1986 he joined a large independent insurance agency where he specialized in Commercial Insurances for various businesses.
In 1991 Susan McConnell & Associates was founded when Don along with his wife Susan established their own independent insurance agency specializing in Life, Health, Group and Commercial Insurance. The agency later merged with M&M Insurance Group, an insurance agency formed in 2001 by his daughter Amy from an acquisition of a local Erie Insurance Agency.
He along with his wife Susan and daughter Amy are the Principals of Susan McConnell & Associates and M&M Insurance Group.
Don specializes in assisting Business Owners with their Commercial Insurance needs.
